MÜLLER SAFETY TRAILER

The Müller Safety Trailer is a multifunctional means of transportation for towing and roadside assistance companies. It is the means of choice for transporting large pieces of debris or cargo goods after accidents involving large vehicles. With its interior dimensions of 6.91 m x 2.41 m, it can also accommodate severely damaged vehicles up to the size of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van and, in contrast to conventional vehicle transporters, does not require any time-consuming securing of the load. The electric cable winch with its pulling force of 8-tonnes facilitates loading a vehicle up the large hydraulic ramp. The payload of 14 tonnes also enables recovery equipment to be transported to the deployment site.

The trailer is additionally optimised for the transportation and storage of electrical vehicles at the quarantine site. In the event of a fire, the watertight trailer can also be flooded up to a depth of one metre. This is sufficient to completely cover the batteries of SUVs and vans. There are connections for fire hoses (Storz-B) at the front of the trailer for this purpose.

The spacious transport boxes underneath the loading area can accommodate all the accessories such as the wheel dolly and the pulley. Talking about pulleys: There is an extra eyelet on the ramp for hitching up a pulley. The trailer can be either supplied with electrical power from the towing vehicle or autonomously operated with the batteries installed in the control cabinet.

Optical warning devices are fitted to the front and rear of the trailer for good visibility. The vehicle’s ambient lighting ensures safe working in the dark and reduces the risk of injury.
